Parks and Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission consists of seven members. Membership is open to residents and nonresidents, however, the majority of the membership shall be residents of the city. The primary function of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall be to plan for both long-range and immediate improvements and development of city parks and recreation programs. Such plans shall be submitted yearly to the city council for review and consideration for the following fiscal year.
The Commission is also responsible for plans to develop new parks and recreation programs.

General Information
Anyone wishing to trim, cut down, or remove any tree, shrub, or flower growing in a public park, parking area, street, public square or place within the city must get prior approval from the Park & Recreation Committee.

The Bandon Park & Recreation Commission meets on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 am. in the Council Chamber at Bandon City Hall, 555 Highway 101, Bandon, Oregon.
