NOTICE OF CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF BANDON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the on September 23, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 555 Highway 101 the Planning Commission of the City of Bandon, will continue the public hearing regarding the adoption of Ordinance 1582 (An ordinance amending Title 17, Zoning) and Ordinance 1583 (an ordinance amending the Comprehensive Plan). These proposed ordinances would amend regulations regarding Coastal Resources, Beaches and Dunes, and the application of Statewide Planning Goal 18.,
Three properties are proposed for exceptions to Goal 18 requirements:
Lot 2, Block 34 and Lot 3 Block 35 of the Amended Breakwater Addition (on the Jetty) and
Map 29-15-01BB, Tax Lot 2000 on Beach Loop Drive near Johnson Creek. These properties meet the criteria of “irrevocably committed” lands as described in ORS 660.732.
Time will be allowed for your testimony at this hearing. It is recommended that verbal testimony be presented in written form, also. In order for written testimony to be included in the Planning Commission packet, it must be submitted one week prior to the meeting date. Written material submitted after this time will be given to the Commission on the day of the meeting. The failure of an issue to be raised in this hearing in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the City Council/Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
Ordinance 1582 and Ordinance 1583 are available for inspection at the Bandon City Offices located at 555 Highway 101 and the City Library, 1201 11th Street SW, located in City Park Black and white copies of Ordinance 1582 and Ordinance 1583 are also available for purchase at a cost of $ 3.60.
